Manuelito, NM

October 16, 2023

Manuelito is a tiny Navajo village, and is the last outpost in New Mexico before Arizona. It is named after Navajo Chief Manuelito, who signed a treaty with Kit Carson in Grants, NM.

There are several trading posts offering Navajo jewelry along here, but the most spectacular features are the views of the weather worn sandstone formations and arroyos that will lead you into Arizona.
