Chenoa, IL

October 16, 2023

Chenoa was founded in 1854 to serve as a mercantile center for surrounding agricultural communities. The population is around 2,000.

This is another proud town that is representative of the old road when it traversed rural mid west communities in the early days of Route 66.

Chenoa participates in the Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor events each May.
