Hazelgreen, MO
Its quite a long ride between Buckhorn and Hazelgreen, and there is not much out there except a long windy rural road. In other words, perfect Route 66 riding!
This route used to go over the Gasconade River Bridge. Unfortunately, the Bridge has been closed down. Attemts to fund repairs have stalled, and it looks like the bridhe may be torn down, with some sections being placed elsewhere as museum piecee. Too bad.
Still, thiss is a pretty ride, and if you are getting to a stopping point, the Munger Moss Motel is not far past Hazelgreen, and there is plenty of beautiful riding along the way.
From Hazelgreen, go over the Gasconade River Bridge - Pass the S Hwy N turnoff - Go straight on the South Outer Road at the Hwy T Junction - Go right at Hwy F and cross I-44 - Go left onto the North Outer Road West/Route 66 into Lebanon
From Hazelgreen, follow the Outer Rd, which will become Hwy AB - Pass the Hwy AA Junction and go straight on Hwy 17 into Buckhorn
