Towanda is the western most of the 16 towns that participate in the Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor Festival.
Towanda has a walking tour through Route 66 Linear Park, which follows portions of the old abandoned roadway. There also are some Burma Shave signs.
Kick's 66 Bar and Grill right outside of town has a nice patio and Biker parking.

Stay on Route 66 out of Towanda - Go through the Towanda signs and keep following Frontage Rd - Go across Towanda Dr onto Shelbourne Dr - Go left on Henry St, which becomes Pine St - Go left on Linden - Go right on Willow - Go left on Main/US 51 to Normal
