Auburn is another of the small towns on old Hwy 4 that became Route 66. It has a bit fewer than 5,000 residents. You can try Rocky's Bar at 213 W Jackson St.
Westbound
Thayer
from Auburn:
From Auburn, follow Hwy 4 toward Thayer - Just past the "Village of Thayer" sign, go left on Harrison - Follow Harrison back to Hwy 4 - Go left on Hwy 4 and follow it into Thayer
Eastbound
Chatham
from Auburn:
From Auburn, go straight with Hwy 4 at a Stop sign. About one mile out of town, go left onto Curran Rd (which is brick!). Get back on Hwy 4 to Chatham
