Sullivan was founded in the late 1850s and early on had a railroad station. The main old Route 66 attractions were the Sullivan Antique Mall and the long gone old Snell's Cafe'.

From Sullivan, stay on Springfield Rd (which was South Outer Road) to Bourbon.

from Sullivan:
From Sullivan, stay on Springfield Rd passed the Junction with I-44 - At a three way Stop, go right staying on Springfield Rd - Go straight at the Junction with Hwy 185 and follow onto the Frontage Rd to Stanton
