Marshfield, MO

October 16, 2023

Edwin Hubble, inventor of the Hubble Space Telescope, is from Marshfield. A replica of the telescope is in the town square in front of the Webster County Museum.

Nearby you can stroll the Marshfield Walk of Fame honoring people of note, including Dred Scott, Bob Barker, Robert Cummings, Edwin Hubble, George "Goober" Lindsey and more. The inductees include a bunch of folks, like George Bush, who probably have just been visitors.

Marshfield hosts the Annual Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival each April.
