Paris Springs, MO
Paris Springs was founded in 1855 and was a thriving community for years. Paris Springs Junction, through which you will pass, was established with the commissioning of Route 66, and died with its decommissioning. Today, the main attraction is the Gay Parita Station, which is a replica of an early 20th century Sinclair station. The original station was built in the 1930's and the stone ruins of the garage are on the property.
The roadway in front of the Station has a large Route 66 Shield painted on it. The Missouri Route 66 Association has announced that it plans to repaint and restore the shield.
