Brooklyn Heights is so small that there is no sign on Route 66 telling you that you are there (although there is a Brooklyn Heights Exit off Hwy 71). The population is only about 100.

From Brooklyn Heights, follow Old 66 Blvd to the Junction with Bus 71/Hwy 171 - Stay on Bus 71 crossing Hwy 171 to Old 66 Blvd - Go left on Old 66 Blvd - Go left on Pine St - Go right on Main St into Carterville
Eastbound
Carthage
from Broolkyn Heights:
Take Old 66 Blvd through Brooklyn Heights - Old 66 turns into Oak St into Carthage - Go left on Garrison Ave - Go past the Jct 96 sign and the Route 66 signs that will take you to the Square, then go right on Hwy 96/Central Ave
