Paraje, NM

Paraje is a ghost town that is the last of the Laguna Pueblo villages along Route 66. The name in Spanish means "place", and often is combibed with another word to designate a particular place, such as "Paraje de Belen."
Although there is nothing in the way of a settlement, the ride through this part of the New Mexico has its own unique beauty.
