Milan was founded by Salvador Milan in 1939. Sal was born in Mexico. His family was exiled in 1913 during the Mexican revolution. Sal was mayor of Milan into the 1970's.
Today, Milan is a small suburb of Grants. The 1950s style Wow Diner advertises that it will Wow You with its unique atmosphere and atypical diner fare.
