San Dimas takes its name from San Dimas Canyon in the San Gabriel Mountains.
On the street lights entering San Dimas are banners naming the local Heroes who served in the US military. Each banner names a different Hero and the branch of the military service in which the Hero served.
Good for you San Dimas!
San Dimas was where Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was filmed.
It is home of the Pinnacle Steak House, with it's big steer and Conestoga Wagon sign. I've never been there, but friends of mine who have been tell me it's a good place.
