Golden Shores is known for its boating from the Golden Shores Marina. It was not developed as a Route 66 town. Instead, it has capitalized on its proximity to the Colorado River.
Uncle Bill's advertises that bikers are welcome, but it was closed last time I went by.
Next stop is Topock, Arizona, then across the Colorado River to Sunny California.
