Allenton is about 30 miles outside of St. Louis. It was a stop on the Union Pacific Railroad that once had over 70 homes and several businesses, including a canning factory, There is nothing left of the original town but ruins. Alternate Westbound Route

- Follow Bus 44 to Pacific.

- From Allenton, get on I-44 East.
- Take Exit 277A (Watson Rd.)
- Go left on Wason Rd./US 366 toward St. Louis into Crestwood.
