Luther, OK
There is no "Downtown" Luther on Route 66, but there are a few spots worth knowing about.
Luther has Sherry's Country Line Bar and the Boundary Restaurant, both of which are biker destinations.
The Boundary got its name from being on the eastern boundary of the 1889 Land Run. It was first claimed by an African American family named Treat who got the property in the Land Run. They farmed, raised cattle and mined sandstone before opening Treat's Grocery and Gas Station in 1926 and its restaurant in 1935. The current restaurant is in the restored Treat's gas station.
There also is a cool unidentified gas station relic between Luther and Arcadia.
