McCook, IL
McCook is the smallest town in Cook County. The Town is named after former Civil War officer and Santa Fe Railroad director John J. McCook.
The Outlaws MC was founded in McCook in 1935 as the McCook Outlaws.
In 1950, after an influx of members after WWII, it moved to Chicago and changed its name to the Chicago Outlaws.
In 1963, the Outlaws became the first 1%er Club east of the Mississippi River. Beginning in 1964, it began annexing a series of clubs throughout the midwest with Chicago being the Mother Chapter. The Florida Chapter came aboard in 1967. The first chapter outside the United States was formed in Canada in 1977. The first European Chapter was formed in France in 1993.
Today, the Outlaws are all over the world with Chapters in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia, and Russia.
